But his story already made him extraordinary: Christian had been legally blind because of a rare retinal disease and later regained much of his sight through gene therapy.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Then he started singing <span class=\"s1\"><b>\u201cWho\u2019s Lovin\u2019 You\u201d<\/b><\/span> by The Jackson 5 \u2014 and the entire room changed. His voice was huge, soulful, and packed with emotion, the kind of performance that makes a crowd go silent before exploding into cheers.
